Monthly tuition cheque = total # of classes per week including all your courses. HST
cheque = is paid by 2 separate cheques at time of registration.
One dated in September and the other February, 2012. Your HST
cheque will be
pro-rated if you begin at any time other than September, or if you are
a partial
registrant. PROFESSIONAL DANCERS RATE:
Professional dancers are able to buy a 10 class card for $80
(plus HST) and drop in whenever it fits their schedules.
A professional means someone whos sole income comes from dancing. All
students performing in our year end concert will pay a $20.00
performance fee. This fee helps to offset the significant costs
of mounting a concert in the theatre. If any student finds
difficulty paying this fee, please talk to Lynda and make an
arrangement. Trades are an option. Please
note that Lynda
Raino Dance is pleased that the HST will no longer apply to dance
classes. I am thrilled with the vote cast by our province.
However, the changes will not come into affect this year.
HST will still remain the same for this September when we
register the school, but I will keep you up to date as soon as I
get the information from my tax accountanct.
It seemed that while the HST was good for some, it
certainly was not good for the performing
arts! |
